We are in! The after school program resumed at GRACE Family Resource Center Khao Noi’s new location on Tuesday, May 21st. Such excitement and enthusiasm filled the center throughout the afternoon on opening day. Tours for the children. Tours for parents and guests. And a few final tasks readied us for the joyous event. Lots of life happens here. #gracethailand
The GRACE administrative team of Thailand has patiently sought land and larger properties in order to expand to an adequately sized facility. Then, the facility came to us. The land owner noticed the number of children in our day camp program and the significant lack of space as she passed by our center each day. She contacted us to offer one of her properties as a new center. We accepted.
The new center has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large kitchen and common room, and a play area situated next to two rai (2/3 acre) of vacant land. The staff, families, children and community joined together to move our belongings to the new center.
We appreciate all who collaborate to strengthen the children and families of GRACE. We appreciate you for donating to ensure we foster social change through strengthening families and eradicating the vulnerabilties of human trafficking and exploitation. We are honored to serve with your continual support.
