Under the URAAN Project, AWARD Pakistan, in collaboration with Pakistan Sunday School Ministries, organized a one-day Youth Leadership Training aimed at empowering young individuals to become responsible, compassionate, and active members of their communities. A total of 50 youth members participated in the session—40 from the URAAN Youth Program and 10 from Sunday School Ministries. The training went beyond the conventional leadership modules, focusing not only on community service but also on the holistic development of youth, emphasizing spiritual growth, social responsibility, physical well-being, and mental resilience.
The sessions encouraged participants to explore their potential, understand the value of inner strength, and realize the importance of self-care and emotional balance in leadership. Through interactive discussions and activities, the youth reflected on the challenges they face, including stress, peer pressure, and lack of guidance, and learned practical strategies to manage these issues. The training also addressed the importance of maintaining physical health and personal hygiene, especially in underserved communities, where youth often lack access to health education.
The day concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among participants, who committed to becoming change-makers in their churches and communities. The URAAN Project continues to inspire young people to develop into emotionally strong, spiritually rooted, and socially active leaders.
