We are thrilled to share the latest updates from our vaccination program, made possible by your invaluable support. Mali faces significant economic challenges, leaving many unable to access crucial healthcare services, including vaccinations against preventable diseases. At Ouelessebougou Alliance, we are committed to changing this reality, and thanks to donors like you we are doing just that.
In February, we successfully vaccinated 1,325 children and 810 pregnant women. This effort continued into March with 1,330 children and 825 expectant mothers, totaling 2,155 individuals vaccinated. In April, these numbers rose to 1,465 children and 850 pregnant women, reaching 2,315 individuals. May saw similar success, with 1,460 children and 825 pregnant women vaccinated, totaling 2,285 individuals. In just four months, your support enabled us to vaccinate a grand total of 8,890 people, safeguarding countless lives.
These vaccinations are not just numbers; they are lifelines. Your generosity has directly contributed to saving lives and improving health outcomes in our community.
Looking ahead, we are eager to expand our impact by introducing a new malaria vaccine to our program. This vaccine has the potential to save thousands of lives annually, but we cannot achieve this milestone without your continued support. Your donation will significantly increase our capacity to protect more individuals from malaria, a disease that continues to claim too many lives each year.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast commitment to this vital program. Your support truly makes a difference, transforming lives and offering hope where it is needed most.
Thank you once again for your generosity and belief in our mission.
Warm regards,
Amanda
