Our vaccination program will kick in to gear within the next month. We are thrilled to include 23 new villages this year for a total of 121 villages in the Ouelessebougou region of Mali, West Africa that will receive immunizations.
The vaccines prevent against nine diseases: polio, yellow fever, measles, tuberculosis, diptheria, hepatitis A, the flu, tetanus, and vitamin A deficiency.
Our goal this year is to ensure that at lesat 95% of children in the region are fully vaccinated.
We are pleased to partner with the Malian government. While the govervnment has the means to provide vaccines at no-cost, they are unable to distribute them to rural communities. In an effort to reach even more people, the Ouelessebougou Alliance plans to train another individual on how to give vaccines.
YOUR support is a life saver. Truly. Thank you!!!
