The Alliance is now providing vaccinations in over 125 villages in and around Ouelessebougou, Mali. Mali's Ministry of Health helps provide the vaccines but does not have the resources or people power to reach rural villages. Which is where we have stepped in. We already have a strong presence in this region of Mali and through our Village Health Agents we are able to communicate and work with many villagers.
In reviewing the success of our vaccination program, we know we can provide even more life-saving vaccinations to children and mothers if we invest in training another person to provide those vaccines. Help us double our numbers to over 12,000 vaccines per year by investing in our vaccination program.
