The Alliance is lucky that there are people all over the world who believe in the work we do. Some of our Global Giving friends even live in Europe and Africa.
It is part of our mission to educate local Utah students and community members about Mali and its people. Our hope is that by sharing our story and stories from our village friends, we nurture people to finally consider themselves "global citizens."
This concern and passion for others is evident in the enthusiastic response we received this year from three high schools who collectively have raised $7,200 for mosquito nets and vaccinations!
We are so close to reaching our goal of $25,000 raised toward life saving immunizations--only $3,304 left to go!
