Here at the Alliance we are so fortunate to encounter people all over the world who believe in what we do.
Part of our mission is to educate local Utah students about Mali and its people, with the hope of fostering the idea of being a “global citizens”.
One way we do this is through our “Shot through the Heart” campaign.
Every February, the Ouelessebogou Alliance partners with local high schools to put on a campaign we call, “Shot through the Heart”.
Students purchase Valentine’s and candy to send to a friend or significant other at school during the week of Valentine’s.
All the proceeds go towards our vaccination program in Mali and help protect Malian villagers – especially children – against 9 preventable diseases!
Thank you all!
