Earlier this year, we welcomed the fifth cohort of IntegrarTEC, the first class to begin our newly redesigned IntegrarTEC 2.0 program.
In our previous report, we shared how the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence had led us to redesign the curriculum, and we are excited to tell you that this new chapter is officially underway. Thanks to your support, 45 talented young people are now preparing for technology careers built around the skills the industry needs today.
The response to this year's recruitment exceeded our expectations. During the recruitment process, we received 355 applications from young people across Greater Buenos Aires. After a rigorous selection process and a one-month preparatory course, 45 students earned scholarships and began classes in early April.
We are especially pleased that more than half of this year's cohort are women, contributing to greater gender diversity in a sector where women are still underrepresented.
Before classes officially began, the new cohort came together for Hay Equipo ("We're a Team"), a workshop led by an organizational coach. Helping students build meaningful relationships from day one is a core part of our educational approach, so the workshop focused on creating the trust and connections students will rely on throughout the program. As we've seen in previous cohorts, these early relationships often grow into lasting professional networks, leading to collaborations, new projects, and career opportunities.
Since April, students have been building software projects while learning modern development practices and applying Artificial Intelligence to solve real-world problems. As the first generation of IntegrarTEC 2.0, they are developing the skills needed to thrive in a technology industry that is evolving at unprecedented speed.
Over the coming months, they will continue developing increasingly complex projects while strengthening the technical, analytical, and collaborative skills that employers are looking for.
For these 45 students, IntegrarTEC represents far more than technical training. It is an opportunity to enter a professional career that once seemed beyond their reach and to become part of a community of peers, mentors, and educators committed to helping them succeed.
We look forward to sharing their progress over the coming months. Thank you for giving these 45 talented young people the opportunity to build careers -and futures- in one of today's fastest-changing industries.
