Dear Project of the Month Club,
We are so glad to let you know that last month, you and 148 other Project of the Month Club members raised $4,690 for "Gift Learning Kits to Rural Girls," offering activities and games to primary grade student. The kits help them learn English, Hindi, and Math, and include fun learning tools like games, posters, and art materials.
Nooreen Dossa, Project Leader, shared with us the impact your gift will have:
"The sum of $4,000 will provide learning kits to approximately 115 schools which will help us reach out to over 5,000 girls living in gender discriminate districts in Rajasthan, India."
For March's Project of the Month, we'd like to introduce you to a project called "Atlas Corps: Invest In Global Nonprofit Leaders," led by Atlas Corps, a longtime GlobalGiving partner. Through their leadership development program for nonprofit leaders, individuals from around the world volunteer in the U.S., learn new skills, share their perspectives, and then return home empowered to address critical issues. To overcome the lack of training in the nonprofit sector, Atlas Corps pioneered a multilateral exchange model that empowers individuals while building the capacity of organizations in the USA and abroad.
Project Leader, Abby Flottemesch, wanted to share with you her message of thanks upon learning that they were selected to participate in the Project of the Month Club:
"AWESOME! We are inspired that "Atlas Corps: Invest in Global Leaders" was selected as the project of the month. When you invest in these leaders, you support a global movement. You support the individuals improving our schools, community health, youth development, and more at home and abroad."
Thank you so much for your generosity and compassion, and we hope that you are proud to develop a generation of nonprofit leaders empowered with the skills and networks to tackle the world's biggest challenges. Your support is having an earth-changing impact around the world.
Warm regards,
Mari and the GlobalGiving Team
