The air is crisp, sweaters are making their way out of summer storage and a trip to the pumpkin patch is in store. As it becomes time to warm your hands around a mug of apple cider, here is a quick reminder of the impact you are making around the world.
In September, 195 of you came together to send $6,497 to Christel House’s project to “Educate a Mexico Girl Child From the Barrios.” You helped cover an entire year’s worth of medical care for 40 girls in Mexico City , and helped put them on the path to success!
This month your donation will go towards Prajwala’s “Therapeutic Community for 600 Sex Trafficked Victims” project in Hyderabad, India. You’ll be helping Prajwala provide a safe haven for victims of sex trafficking so that they can receive necessary psychological and medical care while engaging once again in school or work.
Prajwala’s Sunitha Krishnan responded to being chosen as the Project of the Month by saying, “this global recognition of our cause and the support it is mobilizing is a great sense of strength. Million Thanks!”
Let me echo Sunitha: a million thanks to you for your commitment to this community and for the good that you do around the world. See you in November!
Warmly,
Mari and the team at GlobalGiving
