Between the colorful piles of leaves on the ground in the U.S. and the unmistakable start of holiday cheer, it’s clear: we have entered November! In the spirit of Thanksgiving we are giving thanks this month for what we have and are reminded of the importance of giving back. You don’t need the reminder though, because you’re all a step ahead of the giving season with your generous support of the Project Of the Month Club! As always, we at GlobalGiving and the nonprofits you support are thankful for you.

Last month, 182 of you came together to give over $6,000 to Prajwala’s “Therapeutic Community for 600 Sex Trafficked Victims” in Hyderabad, India. They are grateful for your support, which helped bring medical and psychological care as well as academic opportunity to these young survivors of abuse.

This month your donations will go to Move For Hunger’s project, “Help Us Fight Hunger in America,” which brings nonperishable foods to local food banks.

When told they had been chosen for Project of the Month Club, Project Leader Kristy Redford shared that, “Move For Hunger is honored to be selected…with 50 million Americans struggling to find their next meal, there is still so much work to be done in the fight against hunger. This additional funding will enable the Move For Hunger team to grow our food collection program and deliver additional food to community food banks across North America and to those most in need. With the support of our amazing donors and projects like this, we have been able to deliver over 3,700,000 pounds of food to date. We are incredibly grateful for this project to help us increase our impact.”

Thank you so much for your continued support of the Project of the Month Club. And a reminder: during this month of thanksgiving, remember how many people give thanks for your generosity.

Warmly,

Mari and the team at GlobalGiving
