There is an elder in Tai O, he always likes to have cats for catching rats but never allow cats to stay inside of his house or didn’t spay cats. Close to this elder’s home, always surround by stray dogs; as a result, many cats are killed by dogs.
In June, the elder told me (German) that there were 4 kittens stayed outside of his house and looked sick. I went there and took 4 kittens to Yuen Long SAA Veterinary Center. Three of them were fine, but the little yellow one was very weak; her neck had a deep wound with exposed bone, her injury was very serious and condition was not optimistic.
The yellow kitten stayed in the veterinary center for about 12 days, her neck was full of pus. The veterinary physician and nurses took good care for the kitten, and also gave her some new drugs to make her strong; all of us really want this little one can win this battle to have a better life.
Today, I can announce to all of you that the yellow kitten is totally recovered and she is discharged from the veterinary center. More than that, the veterinary nurse helped her to find a new home and named her as “Xiaoyu”.
I really appreciate and would like to say thanks to SAA veterinary physician and nurses, without them, I don’t think “Xiaoyu” can survive. They really took good care of “Xiaoyu”. Besides, I would like to say thanks to those brothers & sisters from Facebook for their encouragement to “Xiaoyu”.
