Recently, I was so busy and kind of exhausted. It is because I need to take care of little kittens and adult cats with sickness at the same time. You know what it is always not easy to feed sick cats with medicine because they never cooperate with you. Besides, I also need to catch stray cats to do sterilization to control stray cat numbers in Tai O and neighborhood.
The sick adult cat, Mickey, has been admitted to the hospital again; his condition is worse this time. It is because he has a new fight with another stray cat, his wound is inflamed with pus and he also has anemia. Fortunately, one of my friends in Tai O brings Mickey to her home temporarily to take care of his injuries; this does help me a lot and also lower my burden.
Among those little kittens from Siu Ho Wan, there is the weakest one and his name is An-chai. I didn’t help him to find a new home because he was so weak and I think it is better for me to take care of him and therefore I can nurture him to grow strong and healthy in Tai O.
In my opinion, the rapid development of the city will not allow stray animals to get involved, and therefore they are going to extinct. For those little kittens, for sure they may not be able to survive if we don’t find adopters for them.
Finally, I can help those three little kittens in Siu Ho Wan to find new homes; while adult stray cats from Siu Ho Wan have also been sterilized; that made me feel good and give me the courage to keep taking care of stray cats.
