For the past few months, some of our stray cats have medical issues. The followings are estimated medical expenses for each cat:
Yellow (boy) 1 year old
Cause: There was a wound on his hand, deep enough to see the fascia; he needs to have sutured and stay in the hospital.
Medical expenses: hospitalization, surgery, blood tests, X-rays, drugs (approximately HKD15,000 or USD1,910)
Big Yellow (boy) 5 years old
Cause: There was a wound that looked fine on the surface, but there was an inflammation inside and its size is about an egg. After the bacterial test, it was resistant to most antibiotics. It had to be excised the necrotic tissue, and then do the suture and stay in the hospital. He also has FIV and early stage of kidney disease.

Ding Ding (female) 6 years old
Cause: The front hand was hoisted; fortunately, there was no fracture after checking X-ray; and also she has back pain. I observed that there was an old wound under her armpit, probably was injured before, the wound was healed but the muscle tissue is still inflamed. Vet suggested letting her to stay indoors to recuperate.
Medical expenses: Hospitalization, blood tests, X-rays, drugs (about HKD6,000 or USD760)
White Face (Male) 10 years old
Cause: The first blood test found that he has low red blood cells and high white blood cells, while the platelet levels are low. He has high renal index at its early stage; also, he has FIV and the problem of pancreatitis. Therefore, it is recommended to stay in the hospital.
Medical Expenses: Hospitalization, blood tests, medications, surgery (approximately HKD15,000 or USD1,910)
Black and White (boy) 12 years old (lives in Cha Kwo Ling)
Cause: It was found that his intestines are relatively thick after doing blood test; probably he may get colon cancer, and also he has FIV.
He was brought back to Cha Kwo Ling and stays with care taker; I would like to ask for your help to support his medical expenses even though he doesn’t live in Tai O.
Our organization is not only helping stray cats in Tai O; but also, helping stray cats in other suburb.
You can see that we have lot of medical expenses recently and we need your donation and support to take care of stray cats.
