Time flies, the year of 2024 will be ending soon. For the past few months, I was busy as usual; there are always many sick and weak stray cats out there; and I would like to share some stories with you:
HuaHua – we talked about her in last report; she is nine years old and she has severe anaemia. Per the testing result, her platelets fell to a new low level; therefore, she needs an emergency blood transfusion; but we don’t have much money for her. Also, veterinarian suspected her that she may have a tumor but we may not have money to treat her.
Tin-lay – he couldn’t eat food and looked like he has toothache (see attached picture) recently. After seeing a veterinarian, he diagnosed with mouth ulcer; he was given anti-inflammatory and analgesic injections. In addition, he needed to have teeth cleaning and be ready to have tooth extraction surgery.
Anzi – he always stays close to the post office area; we found out that he has hematuria. Fortunately, we could catch him and rushed him to the emergency room for treatment.
Big News!!!
After ten years at Kat Hing Street, we are moving due to the high rent; we find a new place (for sure, we still stay in Tai O) and it is quieter and the rent is much more reasonable. Therefore, our popular and famous cat, Big-yellow, needs to say bye bye to Kat Hing Street and neighbourhood; he is preparing to move too.
Before moving to a new campus, we have a lot of things to do. First of all, we need to paint all walls, change or install new windows, install air conditioners, exhaust fans, cat cages, and so on for the new place. Hopefully, we will be completed in December and be ready to move cats to the new campus.
As you can see due to sickness (HuaHua may have a tumor) and aging problems (Tin-lay has mouth ulcer) in cats, we have lots of medical expenses. Also, because we are moving, we will have extra spending for moving/cleaning/removing stuff for new and old campus. Therefore, we urgently need your donation to help our stray cats and abandon cats. Without your support and donation, we don’t think we can survive and go out to saving cats.
