Protect 20 disabled children in KGF from starving

(Project #33104 from Balajothi Centre for the Disabled)

Funding goal : $20000 / Funds raised to date : $6620.40

Project Report due on Sep 10, 2021 / Report sent on Sep 3, 2021

As we are all aware the entire humanity is suffering from the present COVID-19 pandemic.  Millions have lost their dear ones and jobs and unable to take care of their families for want of money.  This is the current scene the worldover.  Among all this turmoil who is going to think of caring for their disabled children, however much they may love them ?  Even assuming they do so their preference will be for their able children, the disabled ones (useless children will be the last on their list) are mostly left to fend for themselves or perish.  This is but natural.

And that is precisely the reason why Balajothi started this project, to protect atleast 20 disabled children, from starving.  We chose this defunct mining town of KGF and YOUR donation of $6620.40 which you have faithfully sent to date, is being used to feed these starving children every month.  We provide them with their need for sustenance, such as rice, oil, dhal, flour, and all other requirements for one month, at their door step. And we are doing this every month, month after month.  Thank YOU, DONOR, for your concern and compassion by donating even during these troubled times.

Samantha (name changed) is one of the beneficiaries.  She is a severely disabled child and wheelchair bound, from a very underprivileged family, but she is a vivacious and vibrant child and instantly steals the heart of everyone who visits her.  Thank you donor for keeping her so.

We thank GlobalGiving for their wonderful support in bringing to light the existence of such needy people, and for raising funds through their fundraising platforms.  Thank you GlobalGiving and may you continue your efforts to sustain the needy and the disabled !!
