Every child deserves a healthy start. Right now, many infants in Kano face a preventable threat-polio. Elite Star Foundation is protecting 500 infants through ongoing immunization outreach and caregiver education. By delivering vaccines directly to high-risk communities, this project ensures vulnerable children are reached, protected, and given a chance to grow without disability.
Polio is preventable-but access is the problem. In Northern Nigeria, insecurity and displacement disrupt routine immunization. Many families cannot reach clinics, and misinformation lowers vaccine uptake. As a result, infants remain exposed to a disease that can cause lifelong paralysis. Without urgent outreach, these children risk avoidable disability and poor health outcomes.
We bring vaccines to the children who need them most. Through mobile outreach, local health partnerships, and caregiver education, we will immunize 500 infants in Kano. Community leaders help build trust, while awareness sessions increase acceptance. This ongoing, community-based approach ensures access, improves coverage, and protects children in hard-to-reach areas.
Protecting 500 infants today prevents lifelong disability tomorrow. This project strengthens immunization systems, increases community trust, and boosts vaccine demand. Over time, higher coverage reduces polio risk and improves child survival. Empowered caregivers and healthier children create stronger communities and a future where preventable diseases no longer limit potential.
