Thanks to supporters like you, who care about nature and rainforests, we are now officially more than HALF WAY towards securing our 32nd unprotected Daintree Rainforest property, the 3rd of our #NEXT10 campaign as we near the end of 2018!
This rich, prospective rescue property scored high on our ecological scorecard, connects to protected reserves and provides clean, clear water that makes its way to the Great Barrier Reef. This land would be snapped up quickly if it made it to the open market as it's fairly large, very beautiful and has access to power. And remember - a high ecological score means nothing to a developer. Hopefully given this momentum, we will ensure this does not happen!
I thought you might enjoy joining us in this world of rescuing rainforests, so we made this brief video on our initial assessment of this special and under threat rainforest property.

Your support has empowered us to increase the number of protected areas of the Daintree. Together we have, and will continue to, help protect the amazing wild animals of the Daintree like the Southern Cassowary, Musky-rat Kangaroo, Spotted-tail Quoll and so many more. Rescuing rainforest, establishing Nature Refuge status, restoring degraded ecosystems - this is what we do, and we love to share with you.
You protect the rainforests with us. We rescue rainforests because you make it possible.
For the rainforests,
the Team at Rainforest Rescue
