Dear supporter,
We are excited to bring you this new project in Fiji! GVI and the Fiji Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) have plans to initiate and run a spray and neutering programs in specific areas and villages on the East Coast of Viti Levu. Funds raised by the Charitable Trust will be used to fund the transport of vets and purchase of required materials needed to run these community service programs which will lead to a safer and better quality life for Fiji’s dogs and cats.
Dog overpopulation is a major issue in many villages and leads directly to malnutrition and the spread of disease amongst strays. By implementing a spay/neuter and education program, we hope to improve the lives of these animals.
We have seen some fantastic funds come in so far and are looking forward to getting this project fully operational.
Thank you again for all your support.
All the best
Dan Lund
Fiji Country Director
