2023 Impact Report

By Justine Williams | Head of Foundation

I am delighted to share with you our 2023 Impact Report outlining how your kind and generous donations have been supporting our environmental conservation work.

In the report you can find out more about our wider work with our local project partners across Africa, helping to protect endangered species, fight wildlife crime and protect our ocean biodiversity. You can also find out more about our wider carbon removal community projects, helping to protect our climate.

On page three, we are delighted to be able to showcase the work you are helping to support through our local partners, Pangolin Conservation and Research Foundation (PCRF).

With your support, Pelorus Foundation have recently been able to help fund PCRF's relocation to new office space. This not only ensures they now have a permanent location to operate from when not in the field, but also allows for additional accommodation for visiting research students, interns and volunteers. Pangolin protection in the Nyae Nyae Conservancy heavily relies upon this additional support network.

With this additional support the team are able to increase the research that is gathered from rescued pangolins to add to their growing comprehensive pangolin database.  This research is then made available to support pangolin protection and rehabilitation across southern Africa. This helps to ensure key learnings and vital information to help increase the survival rates of rescued pangolins can be maximised.

I do hope you enjoy reading our Impact Report and see just what essential work your ongoing support is helping to achieve.

Thank you.
