Proud to Be Your Mama
Mama Dragons continues to support thousands of parents raising LGBTQ+—especially transgender—youth, thanks to the extraordinary strength of our volunteer-led community. With only limited staff and resources, our programs are powered almost entirely by mothers who show up for one another with courage, love, and determination.
These volunteers run our vetted online support network, teach suicide-prevention courses, lead advocacy and courageous-conversation trainings, and keep life-saving programs like Paper Hugs and Wrapped in Hugs going strong. Their work is especially vital in conservative and faith-centered regions where supportive resources are scarce and families often feel alone.
Because Mama Dragons operates with such a lean structure, every donation and grant stretches remarkably far—fueling programs built from the ground up by parents who simply want their children to live, thrive, and be loved. Your support helps us continue providing life-saving education, connection, and hope.
