Baby Project Update

Matron of the maternity ward carrying parcels
Thank you for taking the time to check in with us! Here's a bit of what we've been up to:
What a blessing to be able to deliver beautiful hampers to the Dora Nginza maternity ward after months of collecting donations. Dora Nginza is our local government hospital. We were so grateful to be able to go into the hospital again and carry the bags down the familiar corridors. We even got to meet a mom on her way out the door with her new baby and blessed her with a bag. Many moms that leave this hospital have very little for their new baby and they are always so incredibly blessed by these bags with essential items for going home with their little one.
Thank you to everyone who donated towards this project, both financially and through items for the bags. We would not have been able to do this without the generous hearts of the donors.
We look forward to our next visit to the hospital in a few months time!
Blessings,
The Love Story team

Hospital staff receiving parcels
Our hospital outreach is one of the projects closest to our heart. It is always such a blessing to us to be able to bless mother's in need. Most of our Love Story staff members are mothers and so we relate very personally to this project.
Our last hospital handout was in September last year, where we were able to handout 150 parcels to new mother's at our local government hospital. We were met by hospital management and staff for the handover of these parcels and received a very emotional and heart felt thank you from them.
We are currently collecting supplies and donations for our next hospital handover, that we are planning to do in March.
Thank you so much for your support and for taking the time to check in with us.
Blessings,
The Love Story team

September Baby parcel handover

Card for the mom
In the first week of September we were able to go to our local government hospital and bless new moms.
With the help of some volunteer ladies, we packed 150 absolutely beautiful Baby Shower bags for the new moms and babies at Dora Nginza Hospital.
This project is so special to us as we are able to make a positive impact in the first few weeks of life for the new babies.
We are very grateful to every business and individual who donated items towards this initiative. The impact of your donation is greater than you know.
“This is love in action” - Dr. Yoyo, Dora Nginza
We always leave the hospital encouraged. Their medical staff warmly welcome us with great excitement for their patients who receive our Baby Shower Gift Bags.
We had an incredible day distributing 150 beautifully made-up gift bags for the new mothers and babies at Dora Nginza Hospital.
Thank you again to all involved for making this happen.
We plan to do another delivery of bags in February.
