We are excited to continue our project with our local hospital in 2023. The work we do at this hospital ranges from providing bedding, mattresses, as well as items needed by new mothers for their first few days post-partum.
We visit the hospital every few months and we are in need of finance to purchase the various items for the bags that we give the mothers. These items include things like diapers, sanitary towels, baby blankets and clothing as well as baby cosmetics. Most of the mothers that give birth in this hospital come from extreme poverty. The help they receive from our organization is the only support they get.
We have recently been able to distribute much needed toiletries for the moms who come from
out of town and arrive at the hospital unprepared and without the bare essentials.
