Our hospital project has always had a very special place in our hearts. We used to go into the wards and hand out the bags to the moms and it’s been 3 years since we have been able to physically hand them over due to Covid restrictions.
Earlier this month, we were able to do our first in person hand over since the pandemic and it was the most incredibly special time. We were able to distribute 100 bags filled with necessities for the new moms and their babes.
One of the nurses from the maternity ward told us how much of a blessing our baby shower bags were during Covid as it was very difficult for people to come and go and have everything they need for their babies. Many moms came from out of town and had almost nothing for their little ones. They were also still able to celebrate things like Christmas New Years babies by using our parcels to make up gifts for babies born on these days.
It is only through generous hearts like yours that we are able to keep this project going and we are so grateful!
