Indian Association for the Blind (lAB) is a well-known non-profit organization based in South India. Here, we work towards providing education, employment, training and rehabilitation facilities for the visually challenged youths from rural areas. It was established in 1985 by the visually challenged activist Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah and a group of like-minded visually challenged people who gave their full support in all his endeavors. Till date, more than 11200 youths have been benefited by us and they now hold prestigious positions in society.
The drive has helped provide Bedding to numerous Visually Challenged students over the years, thanks to generous individuals and residents on behalf of them. This will help in fulfilling their dream of having their own personal bedding. With this, they will be able to rest well and have a good night's sleep so that they can concentrate more on their studies. Just think, by doing something kind like donating a mattress, it just might help you sleep better at night!
We look forward to raising more for this cause. As always, we, along with Global Giving, will do our best in reaching out to generous donors across the Globe and will strive to bring happiness on the face of each of our beneficiaries.
