Bread A Lifeline for Families in Northern Gaza

By hasan sadik | project leader

Dear Donor

Amid the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in northern Gaza—where families face severe food shortages and unprecedented price increases—securing daily bread has become a major challenge threatening the food security of thousands of households. Bread is no longer just a basic item on the table; it has become an essential lifeline.

Through your generous support, we are implementing a bread distribution project targeting the most vulnerable Palestinian families, particularly those living in shelters and temporary tents. This project directly helps meet a significant portion of their daily needs and relieves the constant burden of searching for food amid a lack of resources.

The importance of this project lies in providing a consistent and essential source of nutrition, ensuring a minimum level of food stability for families and reducing the suffering of children, who are often the most affected by food shortages. It also helps protect families from resorting to desperate coping mechanisms that may compromise their dignity.

Despite ongoing efforts, the needs remain far greater than the available resources. Therefore, your continued support for this vital project means we can keep delivering bread daily to thousands of families who depend on it for survival.

Every loaf of bread you provide is a message of hope, and every contribution you make is a step toward saving a family from hunger. We thank you for your trust and continued support—because of you, we are able to carry on this vital humanitarian mission.
