The Clean Water for 3 Villages project is making progress toward its $20,000 fundraising goal, with funds being mobilized to provide sustainable access to safe water for more than 3,000 people in three rural Nigerian communities. The full project budget is $20,000, covering the construction and installation of three solar-powered boreholes, storage tanks, public taps, water-quality testing, maintenance, repairs, and community hygiene education.
At this stage, the project has a remaining funding requirement of $20,000, with no donor contributions recorded yet. Continued fundraising is therefore the immediate priority to enable implementation and ensure that communities can move away from unsafe ponds and streams. Once adequately funded, the project will also train local water committees to oversee maintenance and promote long-term sustainability. Every donation will contribute directly to reducing waterborne diseases, improving school attendance, saving families time, and creating healthier and more productive communities.
