By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | project leader
Dear GlobalGiving Donor,
Because of your compassion, another family in northern Gaza was able to receive what has become one of the rarest and most precious necessities of life: safe drinking water.
In Al-Aqsa Camp, where thousands of displaced families struggle each day with severe water shortages, our team reached the family of Mahmoud, a young child whose smile still shines despite the immense hardships surrounding him. Like many children in the camp, Mahmoud's family has endured days of uncertainty, searching for clean water while facing damaged infrastructure and extremely limited resources.
Your support allowed our team to deliver clean, safe drinking water directly to Mahmoud's family, relieving them—if only for a moment—from the exhausting daily burden of finding water fit for human consumption. In a place where contaminated water threatens the health of children every day, this assistance is far more than a basic service; it is protection from disease, dignity for a struggling family, and reassurance that they have not been forgotten.
The image of Mahmoud holding his water container with a joyful smile reminds us of a profound truth: hope can survive even in the harshest circumstances when compassionate people choose to act. Behind that smile is a child who no longer has to wonder where his next drink of clean water will come from today.
Your generosity is doing more than quenching thirst. It is helping families preserve their health, protect their children, and find strength to face another difficult day amid one of the world's most challenging humanitarian crises.
On behalf of Mahmoud, his family, and all the families we continue to serve in North Gaza, thank you for standing beside them when they need it most. Your kindness is transforming compassion into life-saving action, one family and one drop of clean water at a time.
With our deepest gratitude,
Amal Alumma Organization
