The start of the school year is upon us! This week children returned to their classrooms ready to learn.
During January we ran two fundraising events in partnership with Instagram Influencer Dafne Schilling (@dafneschilling). Dafne helped create an amazing yoga event which was a truly positive experience for all who attended! Those who joined the activities of the classes were encouraged to donate school materials in return for attending. The day was full of joy, not only because of the phenomenal classes put on by Dafne but also because of the generosity of those who donated school materials. We were overwhelmed at the kindness of all who attended and amazed at the high quality of materials we received, including backpacks and writing materials such as workbooks and pens.
These simple materials may seem small but make a huge impact to the lives of those children starting school this week. These kind of actions, together with the donations we receive from you through GlobalGiving, are those that improve the quality of educational life of children every day!
