Dear donors,
The COVID-19 pandemic was a massive blow for all education systems worldwide, interrupting a long educational path child built next to their teachers. Soon, virtuality and non-face-to-face relationships became a new way to connect with others, including students. But what happens if you live in a family with no internet connection or electronic devices?
That is the case of thousands of children in Argentina for whom the school was a second home: a place where they learned, ate, and received emotional support. Due to the COVID-19, schools were closed for 80 weeks (UNESCO).
Our organization is committed to contributing to the fourth SDG and providing quality education, especially to the most vulnerable. That’s why we aim to support more than 250 children in their educational progress because we think that education has great power. It is vital to every child’s development.
For this reason, the last month, in cooperation with the teaching staff, we launched the “Back to School” campaign. The campaign aims to reach donations to buy school kits for every kid. We’ll keep working together for the next generation and building back our educational systems in this full return to in-class schooling.
Thanks to your support, we can provide extracurricular lessons to help the participants achieve the expected levels for their age.
