Background
Together we can empower individuals in Africa who are interested in creating small businesses. This will give them the opportunity to get out of poverty and help in the development of their community through boosting economic development. We will provide small loans for business investments as well as training and coaching to entrepreneurs in the rural areas of the Maritime Region in Togo. In February 2021, we reached our initial funding goal of USD 10,000 and we have now raised the target.
Project update
In the last project update we had a very positive message and the businesses were thriving. We still view the progress made positively and it is very much attributed to our regional partners and our donors which together enables this. We continue to work on improving the organisation in Togo to enable it to grow as this is crucial to be able to support more women in the area. Additionally, we are just about to initiate a new round of lending which is great! When this is completed we will have more information about the progress and we will gladly provide you with this information in one of the upcoming project reports.
Thank you!
