Thank you for following our work in Togo and Kenya!
Update from Togo
During the second half of 2025, the local team continued supporting women running small businesses across Agbelouve, Aguduvu, and nearby villages. Activities focused on follow-up visits, basic bookkeeping support, and maintaining the loan contracts that help structure the programme. Entrepreneurs remain active in areas such as food production, small trade, tailoring, and hairdressing. Loan repayments allowed some funds to be reinvested, and beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the ongoing guidance.
Update from Kenya
In Kenya, we continued engaging with small-scale entrepreneurs in urban and semi-urban areas. Local teams focused on follow-ups, training sessions, and supporting members in managing their small enterprises. Several participants continued working to stabilise or rebuild their businesses, while others made gradual progress with support in planning, savings habits, and coaching.
Looking Ahead
Across both countries, the emphasis remains on regular contact, practical coaching, and helping loan takers strengthen their business routines. As we move into 2026, we will continue monitoring progress and identifying areas where additional support is needed.
Thank you for your continued support!
