Dear donors,

Good morning and lots of Namaste to you, your family members, and your friends.

Today once again I am very pleased to share another report among you all. I hope my report will find you all happy and healthy and having a good time there.

I am very sorry to tell you that during the last three or four months two people  (one man and one woman) passed away.  We prayed to god for their departed soul to rest in peace in Heaven, In their place two old people were appointed to the committee.

During the last three months two biggest national festivals were celebrated throughout  Nepal. They were the Dashain and Deepawali festivals. The Dashain was celebrated from October 21 to 288  by having varieties of food, wearing new clothes,  visiting relatives, and taking blessings from them.   Deepawali was also celebrated on November 11-16 by worshiping Laxmi the goddess of wealth and also by having varieties of food.

In order to support the elderly people in celebrating those festivals   our organization distributed food materials like rice, pulse, salt, beaten rice, cooking oil, sugar as well as other materials of daily  use like  soap,  to them. The people were very much pleased to receive the materials for the festival celebration.

On November 23 a big fair also took place at the Makamana temple area. The fare which is called Ekadashi Fare ( Mela)  is very popular among the youths as well as elderly people. People enjoy the fare by singing and dancing throughout the whole night. The next day people have a bath in the nearby Koshi river and perform pooja rituals at the Manakamana temple. They receive Tika (red color) on the forehead from the priest and go back home in a happy mood.

Nowadays almost 30-34 people have been living there. They have been receiving food materials from us as well as from other pilgrims and have been living there happily.

Once again I would like to appreciate a generous donation to our organization project. We hope your generous support and cooperation will continue in the coming days to achieve our fundraising goal.

You can also support us by

  • Requesting your family and friends to donate to our project.
  • Sharing our fundraising program among your network, family, and friends

Once again I would also like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to you

and your family.

Warm regards
