Dear Donors,
Namaste!
Once again I would like to share some current news about the elderly people home to you all.
All the 35 elderly people living at the Manakamana Elderly People home are fine. They have been spending their days praying to God for peace and prosperity to all the people living around the world.
From time to time they have been getting food materials from our organization. So they have been having their full and are very happy from our service.
In the past they used to light the kerosene lamp when there was no electricity at home. With money received from the pilgrims they used to buy kerosene in the market and used to light a kerosene lamp. But when there was lack of kerosene in the market because of political problem in Nepal, they had to purchase candle to light during the night. They had to pay high price for the candle.
It was very expensive as well as risky for them to set fire because of lack of their bad eyesight. It was very difficult for them to go to the bathroom using the kerosene lamp or the candle. Hearing their problem our organization recently distributed rechargeable lantern each of the people living there
Through this report we would like to extend our heartiest thanks and gratitude to all our donors a for their valuable contribution. We also hope you will continue supporting us in the coming days .
Yours sincerely
Tejanath Pokharel
