As they grow older, the children food consumption is also increasing. In addition to healthcare and nutritious meals, we were able to harvest 1.2 tons of corn and 50 Kg of beans from our farming project to help with our increasing food consumption. Since the beginning of the academic year in October, out of 3 reporting period, one of our little girls, Diakassan, ranked twice first in her class of 44, with a GPA of over 8 out of 10 both times. Additionally, Adama and Lassine have commenced the skill building with tailoring classes. Finally, in the sport arena, 3 of our children, Diakassan, Koro, and Assan, are retained to participate in Bamako’s regional competition. The year was ended with a visit to Bamako by one of our board of directors, Alpha, who spent Christmas and New Year with the children in Bamako. Please donate today and help us ensure that our work continues and that the vulnerable children of Mali are afforded the security of the holistic program that ACFA offers them. Thank you for supporting our efforts towards attaining our vision.
