Dear Donors,
This project will provide food items for 32 abandoned elderly women who are living in very difficult conditions.
Across Nigeria, many elderly people particularly women face neglect due to poverty, loss of family support, and lack of social protection. For abandoned women in slums and rural areas, the absence of steady food supply is one of the hardest challenges. Malnutrition, weakness, and isolation often follow, and some rely on neighbors or strangers for survival. These women once cared for others, but now find themselves left behind.
Our plan is to deliver regular food supplies such as rice, beans, oil, and other staples to the 32 women identified. This will reduce hunger, give them comfort, and restore dignity. We will also carry out welfare visits to monitor their wellbeing and provide companionship, as many of them are lonely and in need of human connection alongside food.
Although no donations have been received yet, the project is ready to begin as soon as resources become available. Every contribution will go directly into purchasing and distributing food to the women, ensuring that they do not go to bed hungry.
We thank you sincerely for your kindness in considering this project.
Warm regards,
Kadiri, Ugbede-Ojo Dominic
