Focus Shift - Feed Students in Crisis

By Mariah Seigel | Touch the Nations Global Giving Liaison

Previously this project funded the distribution of food to 2 Ethiopian towns experiencing drought, thank you for supporting that effort! Moving forward this fund will support a new food related need - feeding students in crisis.

A few years ago the COVID pandemic caused supply chain issues that have continued to fuel drastic inflation. Just in the last year the cost of food has increased by 10x leading to many going hungry. This project will help solve that problem for students of a local Ethiopian school by providing them with hot lunches. Nourishing lunches will sustain their bodies and allow them to focus on learning at school! Thank you for any support you can give to this need.
