School is off to a great start in a dusty, rural village on a savannah in Ethiopia. Thirty students began their second year of academic preparation, and thirteen girls and seventeen boys entered our pre-school program. Most come from families facing food scarcity with children entering the school year listless and exhibiting various skin or hair issues – indicators of malnutrition. Receiving a lunch with milk and protein along with a multivitamin every school day does wonders for these kiddos! Within a few weeks the teachers notice a significantly changed child playing energetically and eagerly engaging in the coursework.
Food! A life changer! With the support of people like you, these young students are learning and thriving! THANK YOU!
