Dear donors, thank you for your generous donation and for supporting rural pregnant women in Nigeria. Your contribution highlights the importance of safe motherhood and early detection of pregnancy risks.
Many women in rural areas cannot afford ultrasound scans or travel to distant clinics. Without monitoring, complications such as ectopic pregnancies, multiple births, and fetal distress often go undetected, contributing to high maternal and newborn mortality.
This project will deploy mobile ultrasound units to rural communities, providing scans at no cost. Trained health workers will detect risks early and provide referrals for necessary care, improving pregnancy outcomes and reducing preventable deaths.
Although donations have been received, additional funds are needed to cover logistics, travel, and outreach to hard-to-reach communities. With more support, we can ensure that rural mothers receive timely, lifesaving ultrasound services.
With regards,
