Healthy Street Kids with Nutrition !!

By Dr. Deepak Sharma | CEO

Respected Donor Namaste!!
.
A Warm Greeting from RSKS India !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.....

In our society, malnutrition is common thing for the homeless children. These children live nearby the roads in a slum. They beg or they collect garbage to sustain their daily life activities and eat for one times in a day. They are far away from a well developed society. It is found that, things which these children eat are not nutritious and that is the reason of causing malnutrition in them. These children do not have a proper knowledge of nutritious food.

RSKS INDIA organized a camp for 4 deprived slums in which health awareness and healthy nutrition was taught and given to these children. By the support of donors and GG 175 children from these 4 slums took participation. In this camp, with the help of flipcharts these children were taught about the healthy nutrition. At the end of this camp, children were given fruit salad and by this the children were too happy and excited.

In this program, the nearby people also showed keen interest and said that these children are collecting garbage all throughout the day and do not pay attention to their health which causes malnutrition in them but now with this camp these children will pay attention to eat healthy food. With this camp the children knew about healthy nutrition and also a nutritious food. The children never ate this type of nutritious food. Today these children are very happy after eating this nutritious food and this happiness can be seen on their faces. All the people nearby and the children thanked RSKS INDIA and GG and donors for this camp.
