We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
The society ignores poor and helpless children who live at road side, but these children are also a part of the society and they also have some fundamental requirements. Such children are not so lucky that they have their wishes fulfilled. Moreover, there are some children who don't have meal for two times and clothes to wear.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, lend a hand of hope to meet the requirements of such poor and helpless children. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized a program at 5 slum areas of the city for 160 children. In the program, at first poster making competition was held in which children took participated with excitement. They painted beautiful drawing on the posters that made them happy; some made their huts while others made flowers, sun, and colorful paintings of animals. The best among them was awarded to encourage of the them. Then, we gave food stuffs, dress, etc. to them.
After distributing the stuffs to the children we advised them to be free of addicition and to avoide immoral activities and taught them lesson of discipline. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan made 4 children to leave the habit of addiction through counselling and show them the way of education. The children also took oath not to be addicted and to avoid immoral activities and to be disciplined in life.
In the distribution program for poor and helpless children, one of our activists clap eyes on a scared girl. When the activitst had conversation with the girl, he came to know about her problems.
The girl named Kiran and she was 14 year old. After the sudden death of her mother, Kiran got all alone. Her father is a rickshaw puller and a habitual liquor consumer. Kiran, in rags and without any footwear begs at road everyday and manages somehow with all what he gets by begging. When she got packet of food and other stuffs in the program, her eyes full of water as she had never wore new clothes. The activists of the organization bought her new footwear then she got so happy. Kiran expressed her happiness to the activists and thanked Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation.
