Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan celebrates "DAAN Utsav" every year from 2nd October (Gandhi Jayanti) to 8th October. During this time, we organized several programs as welfare of poor children, women and girl empowerment, educational development, prevention of violence against women, health and sanitary, welfare of mankind. In the series, the organization in addition to "DAAN Utsav", also participate in "Giving Tuesday India" and make efforts with determination for the welfare of poor, deprived, helpless people for which Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan has organized several social welfare programs. The organization dedicates its work to the messenger of peace, the father of nation "Mahatma Gandhi".
In the joint venture of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation, "Giving Tuesday week" was celebrated with Enthusiasm. One 2nd October, on the ocassion of the birthday of the father of the nation (India) Mahatma Gandhi, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized a poster making competition for the children live in slums. The children participated in the competition with enthusiasm and made beautiful and colorful posters. After the poster competition, our activists gave them clothes, toys and food packets. All children enjoyed the stuffs they were given especially rule, pastry, snacks, biscuits, chocholate, etc.
In the celebration of "Giving Tuesday India", the children expressed their happiness by singing and dancing. All the children were so glad as they had never got a chance to play with toys, but Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation made their dreams true. Among the children the one who performed best in the poster making competition was awarded.
The support and contribution of GlobalGiving Foundation in the project “Provide Gift & food to Poor Street Children” is commendable! And the contribution of Donors deserves praise together. Marginalized women, Girl's & Poor Children are being Empowered, Educated, Healthy successfully with the help of the donors!!
