We Have Been Getting your Valuable Generous Donation & Great Support over the year through GlobalGiving and we are Thankful to you from the Core of our Heart.
Street Children live at road side or in streets fight with poverty and helplessness everyday to meet their basic requirements. After getting up in the morning, begging or collecting garbage for the entire day is major part of their lifestyle. Here comes a large number of festivals every year, but such helpless children are bound to live such pathetic life in which it seems that they don't have right to enjoy. Celebrating a festival is just like a dream for them.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan took initiative to be a helping hand for such helpless children. GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors play a significant role to make our efforts possible with their financial suppport. RSKS, with the collaboration of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors has brought colors to the colorless life of such poor and helpless children. RSKS organized a program for such children on the ocassion of Christmas and celebrated Christmas with poor children at five distinct slums & street of the city.
RSKS, on the ocassion of Christmas, gave clothes, jeans, t-shirts, woollen jacket, chocholate, snacks and food packets to more than 200 poor children. Getting the stuffs, the children got so happy and started dancing with joy. First of all, they chaged old clothes and wore new ones and they enjoyed the eatables. The Team RSKS wished them "Merry Christmas" and "Happy New Year". All of them celebrated the festival and wished each other "Merry Christmas". The Team RSKS got happy to see the smile on the faces of the children.
Beneficiary views:- My name is Fakira (Name changed) and I live with my family members. I lost my parents at an early age, and from then I have been living fith my family members. I used to wander in the locality and collect garbage with my friends. It helped me to get the meal for a day.
When the whole world is busy in celebrating festivals, I just kept watching others celebrating festivals. But, this year, RSKS made my Christmas remarkable with its efforts. I have worn a new dress after a long time and I can't express my feeling in words.
Beneficiary views:- When the Team RSKS was celebrating Christmas with the children, one of our activists noticed an innocent little girl named Sarika (Name changed). Our team had a small talk with the little girl in which she told us about her daily routine. Sarika lives with her parents who do labour to run the family, but don't earn enough to meet their basic requirements.
She even doesn't know the meaning of celebrating festivals. But, this year, RSKS with its love made it possible so that Sarika could celebrate Christmas. Wearing the new clothes she showed it to others and danced. Sarika in her innocent words thanked RSKS along with GlobalGiving Foundation.
