We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.....

RSKS INDIA works for the people living nearby road and for the slum area children in the field of education, health etc. Time to time RSKS organizes programs to give these children the proper education, nutrition etc in which they distribute things. By all the work done by RSKS INDIA in these area makes changement in the life of the children residing there. Today by the means of this report we will know about a life story of a girl child which is told by her only.

My name is Reshma (Name Changed) and i am 11 years old. I live in slum area which is near to Makhupura. In my family i do have 2 younger sisters and my father is alcoholic. Because of my father's alcohol consumption we all suffer as whatever he earns is spended on alcohol. We all the three sisters colect garbage from the nearby area and then sell it to eat food for one times in a day. We have spended so many nights in which we were not able to fulfil our food needs. And celebrating a festival was a dream to us. When everyone is celebrating the festival we struggle for earning money to eat food.

This year's Diwali was memorable for me. For the first time in my life i wore a new dress on Diwali. In the distribution program organized by RSKS INDIA children like me were provided with a new dress, firecrackers, sweets etc. This year i wore a Anarkali dress and i was very happy wearing that dress and i felt very excitement for the occasion. This year I also burned firecrackers like Anar, Fuljhadi, Roshni etc with all the other children.

I do not remember the last time when I ate sweets but this Diwali only because of RSKS INDIA I was able to eat and give sweets to other children like me. All these things were a dream of mine but this DIWALI it all came true. I thank the donors, GG and RSKS INDIA for making my dream come true.
