Meet with Rukma ......!!
My name is Rukma (Name Changed). I am 38 years old. We live in a slum area. I have a son and he has been malnourished for the last two years. Due to malnutrition, he continues to have some disease. He is not able to flourish and is facing many diseases. Now his weight has also started declining. I only worry about that, how to prevent his malnutrition diseases. When I see the healthy children around me, I think that I am not able to do anything for my child.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan solved my problem. For the last one year they have been working on my child’s nutrition and health. RSKS Organization distributed Nutritional food Kit to my child thrice in the last year. This nutritional food kit contained protein-rich ingredients like gram dal, moong dal, soybean, oatmeal, rice, lentils, etc. The organization gave information about balanced nutrition food through flip charts and nutrition posters. Home cooking was also taught. I had never taken balanced nutrition training because of which I did not know what kind of balanced diet a child needs.
Now I have come to know about balanced nutrition. I have been able to give my child both protein-balanced and nutritious food with the help of nutrition provided by the organization, which has increased my child's weight by 5 to 6 kg. I am very happy that my child is now recovering and playing like other children. I have seen an increase in my child's health as he carries out daily activities like other children. Now my child is no longer malnourished. Whole credit goes to the team and the donors associated with them. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the organization.
