"First happy body" for this, it is necessary to be healthy and to stay healthy one needs to take balanced nutritional diet. The child also needs a lot of nutrition because balanced nutrition is necessary for physical development. But the poor and slum children do not get balanced nutrition. Their family members are not able to earn enough that they can give balanced nutrition to their children.
Nutrition material distribution program was organized by RSKS organisation for such poor and slum area children. Under this program, nutrition kit was distributed to around 500 street and slum children by the organisation, which contained nutritional material like soybean, mangodi, chana dal, black gram, rice, etc. In this program, the families of street & slum dweller children were called and they were given information about balanced nutrition. Through flip charts and cards, nutritional food ingredients were told and how to make them was also taught.
Through this program poor children got nutritious food items which they desperately needed. Now these children will be able to get nutritious food which will enable their physical development. The family members of the children also got information about balanced nutritional diet so that they would be able to feed their children by making good nutritious food. All of them were very happy because they could not give such nutritional material to their child. But with the support of the organisation, now they will be able to give better nutrition to their child, for which they thank the organization wholeheartedly.
