Dear Patron !
In India all the festivals are celebrated in a most amazing ways but there are some people who even do not know that which festivals are on which days. These people are the slum and street dwellers as they are busy everyday for earning for their livelihood. If these people will not earn then their children and themselves have to sleep hungry. The street and slum children also do not know the importance of festivals as there is no one to tell them about the festivals and how to celebrate them. Dussehra is known for a new beginning but these children could not find any new start as there is no one to tell them.
In this context, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan played a vital role and organized Dussehra Celebration program with the slum and street children. In this celebration program, all the slum and street children participated as well as their guardians also participated. In this celebration program, ''Ramleela'' was organized by the RSKS Team members and the children were given new attire to mimic the Ramleela. Dussehra resembles the start of a new beginning. So, destroy your evil side and conquer it with positivity was taught to everyone attending the program by burning the Ravana statue at the end of the program. Sweets were distributed to everyone at the end of the program.
All the slum and street children got to know about the importance of the Dussehra festival and also their guardians came to know about the importance of the festival and also the way of working of RSKS India. These children got a new hope by celebrating this festival as this year they got a chance to celebrate a festival like the mainstream children does. All these children got to know about Ramleela and also performed the whole skit in front of everyone boosted their morale and confidence. All the children got delicious sweets to eat at the end of the program. The guardians and the slum & street children thanked RSKS India and all the donors from bottom of their heart.
