Make a Wish for Street & Slum Children.....

RSKS India Family and the beneficiaries wish you and your family "Merry Christmas" !!

It is seen often in the slums and streets that the children living there do get involved in bad practices like burglary, abusing, snatching etc. These children start doing these things because from childhood they have to earn money for the family as the family of these children are all busy working whole day in order to get food for the day. These people have to live in harsh poverty and these children start their journey by collecting garbage and then in search of getting more money in less time, these children take wrong paths. This happens as there is no one to tell them about good habits and there is no one to educate them about discipline.

In this context, RSKS India organized Discipline, Good Habit-Bad Habit awareness program at 20 different slum/street locations and with around 500 slum and street children. This Discipline, Good Habit-Bad Habit awareness program was organized by RSKS India under the Make A Wish program of RSKS India. This program was only successful by the support of GG. In this program, the children were made aware through flipcharts, videos, story-telling etc activities in the workshops. These children were taught in an easy way so that these children could understand between what is good and what is bad. These children were given the knowledge of ethical and unethical things. In the program all the children were told to follow social distancing and all the covid-19 safety protocols.

This Discipline, Good Habit-Bad Habit awareness program was able to change the habits of the slum and street children. This program was able to show good path to these slum and street children and also through the help of this program these children were also able to know about how to be in discipline. After this program the children started to respecting their elders and also started to greet them always. The family of these children got very happy while seeing the changes in the habits of their children and said RSKS team members that this type of knowledge surely could make good human beings. All the slum and street children got the knowledge in a very easy way and were able to understand the importance of good habits and also about the problems which the bad path gives.
