Provide Gift & food to 700 Street Children

Every year on the day of 25th December, there are hopes in the mind of children to get a gift from the Santa as 25th December is known for the Christmas day. On this day, all the wishes of the children are fulfilled by the Santa and in that favour all the children have to behave nice always in their life. Still there are many slum and street children who even do not know about this day as they do not got the education and they never saw anyone else in their slum or street celebrating this day. RSKS India works for the welfare of the slum and street children under the Make A Wish Project of RSKS India which is run through the valuable support of GG. Under this project, many activities/ programs are organized from time to time with the slum and street children living.

RSKS India celebrated this year’s CHRISTMAS DAY with the slum and street children. RSKS India team went to 3 different slum and street locations where more than 125 children were present in the Christmas day celebration program. The RSKS Team members gathered all these children at the first and then provided them the information about the Christmas day and why it is celebrated and the importance of this day for the children. After this all the children also got happy as they also understood that they would be getting something new today and then the RSKS team started to provide these children the Santa Cap, different Christmas props, soft toys, food packets which included cake, Kurkure, chocolate, biscuits, swiss rolls, fan etc. There were also packed gifts for these children which included of different toys. These packed gifts were given to the children who performed on this day to make other children understand about this day and for entertainment. RSKS India team then told the parents as well as the children to always remember this day.

There was a huge smile on the face of the slum and street children as their wishes got true. These slum and street children wake up everyday while thinking about something delicious to eat, some toys to play, and new clothes to wear. So all the things which they wanted were given to them by the RSKS India team on this day. The slum and street children got to know about the Santa and the good path on which every child should walk. The slum and street children danced and sang songs on this day for celebrating it and the moment. These children were busy collecting garbage but on this day they all did nothing except enjoyment. The family members of these children and the children thanked the whole RSKS Team and GG through which this celebration day was possible.
