Cultural Fest with Slum Children !

By Team | RSKS India

Dear Patron !

India celebrates its Republic Day every year, commemorating the day when the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950. However, many people living in slums and remote rural areas are unaware of the significance of this day. Due to lack of resources and awareness, these communities do not celebrate the day or understand its historical importance. Even many slum children as well as their parents never went to schools and this is the reason why they are unaware of this important day.

To address this issue, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) organized a Republic Day celebration program at a slum nearby city. The aim of the program was to educate the slum children and their parents about the importance of this day and to celebrate it with them. The RSKS India team members interacted with the community members and told them about the history and significance of Republic Day. The program started with the hoisting of the Indian flag by one of the senior community members. After that, cultural activities such as singing, dancing, and drawing were organized for the children. The RSKS India team members also distributed sweets to the children at the end of the program.

The Republic Day celebration program organized by RSKS India had a significant impact on the slum community. It helped in creating awareness among the community members about the importance of Republic Day and its historical significance. The program also helped in fostering a sense of patriotism among the children and their parents. The cultural activities organized during the program provided an opportunity for the children to showcase their talents and boost their confidence. The sweets distributed at the end of the program brought smiles to the faces of the children, making the day even more memorable for them. Republic Day celebration program organized by RSKS India was a great success, bringing joy and knowledge to the slum community. It served as a reminder that every citizen of India, irrespective of their social and economic background, has the right to celebrate and feel proud of their country's history and achievements.
