Provide Gift & food to 700 Street Children

The winter season poses severe challenges for slum and street children, where the cold weather can be harsh and unforgiving. Many of these children lack the basic necessities to stay warm during winter, making them vulnerable to illnesses and discomfort. Inadequate clothing and exposure to cold temperatures increase the risk of health issues, affecting their overall well-being and ability to engage in daily activities. Additionally, the economic constraints faced by their families often make it difficult to afford warm clothing and essentials.

To address the pressing issue of winter vulnerability among slum and street children, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan implemented the Wollen Caps, Crocs, Gloves Distribution Program. The initiative targeted 550 children from 22 different slum and street locations who were selected based on their vulnerability to the harsh winter conditions. These children were provided with essential winter items, including warm woolen caps, crocs, and gloves, free of cost. The distribution program aimed not only to protect these children from the cold weather but also to enhance their overall comfort during the winter season. In addition to warm clothing, the initiative included the provision of dates, recognizing their nutritional value in boosting immunity during the winter months.

The Wollen Caps, Crocs, Gloves Distribution Program by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has had a profound impact on the lives of 550 slum and street children across 22 locations in Rajasthan. The warm woolen caps, crocs, and gloves has directly addressed the immediate challenge of winter vulnerability, ensuring that these children can face the cold weather with increased comfort and protection. The children, who previously lacked proper winter clothing, expressed their happiness and gratitude after receiving the new items. The warmth provided by the caps, crocs, and gloves not only safeguards them from potential health issues but also contributes to an improved quality of life during the winter season. Feedback collected from parents and the children themselves during interactions with the RSKS India team highlighted the immense appreciation for the program.
